Glenn & Kathy

In 2001 I saw an add for a 1956 Nomad.  It was finally time that I thought
that I could afford one.  My wife and I went to Louisville Kentucky and
purchased the car.  It was stock.  The person I purchased it from said he
had it for 15 years and wanted to sell it so he could buy a lawnmower.
Wished I had brought over my lawn mower so we could have just traded.

I took the car apart as I wanted to change a few things.  Engine from the
265 to a 350 create motor.  Well I got a new job in another state.  Packing
parts away in a car that is apart and trying to move it is challenging.
Well after many moves to several storage places different garages I finally
pulled the car into our home.  Finally 2006 I got the car running.

In 2005 I saw a 1957 Chevy Nomad at a car show.  The car was gorgeous.  I
spoke to the owner who's name was Larry Myers.  I spoke to him about my
car.  I also found out that he works on the Nomads.  Well this weekend the
car is going over to his facility.  I am wanting to get all the running
gear in top order so that in July I can drive the 56 to San Antonio.

I am sending some pictures so that you can add to the collection of another
proud owner of a Nomad.  PS this car at one time used to be registered in
the Nomad Club.
