Ronnie & Susan

Kings Mountain NC

We found our Nomad in 1994 in a barn. After 15 years out of service it
looked pretty bad, but it had a sound body.
We did a complete frame off. We used a 94 LT-1 with a 4L60E Trans in
front of a 9" ford rear end out of a 69 Mach.
Installed a 605 power steering box with front disc brakes, a custom tilt
column with a Lecarra wheel, Vintage Air, Dakota Digital Dash and
clock, AM FM Cassette Radio, Power windows and seat with remote door
locks, Custom seat covers and headliner on the original frames.

We drove her the first time in Sept, 1998.
Scored 978 points at Classic Chevy Winter Nationals Feb. 1998.
Won first place at 99 Nomad Nationals in Nashville Tenn.
Scored 982 Points at Eastern Nations August 2002.
Featured on July 2003 Snap-On tool calendar.
We also drive to all the shows.
