We didn't want you guys thinking that we were just sitting around sipping
eggnog and listening to Bing Crosby on the Philco. We've been busy! I think
Jack and Brett Harris have worked every weekend for the last month, and a
lot of late nights as well... Our Nomad is all painted, color sanded, buffed
and all of the sheetmetal is hung. It's just about time to bring it back
home for Christmas and do the final assembly on it. Needless to say, Jack
and his crew have done an outstanding job on it and it looks beautiful. It
has also helped to have my "resident parts man", Mark Brewer of Mutton
Hollow Chevrolet, right up the street when those last minute parts are
needed, and Dave Chase here helping me figure out where they all go.

 2/12/2007 Still on target

March 7, 2007

We're still waiting on the interior guy... But we're about ready to fire
this sucker up and see if it runs... for the first time in 37 years.

One Last update.... Dave Chase and I stayed late last night and finished up
all of the wiring on the Nomad.... Everything works! We installed the master
Cylinder and accompanying hardline. All that Jack Larsen needs to do, is put
down the carpet, linoleum on the cargo area, 39 more pieces of stainless
around the wood, install the seats and we're ready to roll.... I even
finished restoring the bumper jack this morning. Now if it will just start,
without the whole thing going up in flames, we'll be all set! Take care and
have a nice weekend... We hope to see you on the road soon. Jim
